Nick Thompson scored four goals and assisted on another to lead Central Catholic’s boys soccer team to a 6-0 victory over Tri-Central on Tuesday.

Tim Wagner made five saves for the Knights (2-0-1).

LOGANSPORT – Orlando Casimiro’s goal capped the Berries’ comeback from a 3-1 halftime deficit.

Free Burton, Costa James and Steve Sutton scored three unaswered goals for West Lafayette.

DeMOTTE – Brian Kish scored with 1.9 seconds remaining to complete Covenant Christian’s second half rally.

Pierce Van Houten gave Rensselaer a 1-0 halftime lead on an assist from Chase Klingler.

Lauhren Pickett contributed 10 kills and seven blocks at the net for Twin Lakes.

Emily Martin had 17 kills and Mattie McGill knocked down 12 for Rossville. Samantha Brenneman recorded 11 blocks.

KENTLAND – A strong hitting night by Morgan Richards and Logan Glassburn helped the Rebels win their second Midwest Conference match.

Richards had 16 kills on .302 hitting, while Glassburn collected 15 kills while amassing a .312 hitting percentage. Darian Hoaks set up the duo with 40 assists.

VEEDERSBURG – Miranda Synesael’s .500 hitting produced 13 kills for the Patriots.

Katie Market contributed five blocks and six kills.
