HIGHLANDS RANCH – The ThunderRidge Grizzlies took on the Rock Canyon Jaguars in the final of the ThunderRidge-Rock Canyon girls basketball tournament with the Grizzlies winning 49-40.
Both teams came out on fire sinking multiple three pointers. The Grizzlies started to pull away scoring 19 in the second quarter including an incredible buzzer beating three by Brittany Birdsey.
With the win the Grizzlies stay undefeated on the season. Their next match up is at Horizon on Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.
