Hortonville 8, Luxemburg-Casco 1

At Luxemburg, Dan Borek didn’t allow a baserunner until the sixth inning, striking out 12 and walking just one as the Polar Bears clinched at least a share of the Bay Conference championship.

Hortonville, which improved to 14-2 overall and 13-1 in the Bay, was led by Jake Diedrich and Parker Thome, both with three hits.

Freedom 11, Little Chute 1

At Freedom, Ben Lamers was three-for-four with two doubles and Freedom used three big innings to dispose of the Mustangs.

Freedom scored four times in the first, five in the third ans two in the fourth as the Irish moved to 9-9 overall and 7-7 in the conference.

Mitch Ciske paced Little Chute, going two-for-three.

Shiocton 10, Bonduel 8

At Shiocton, the Chiefs rebounded from giving up a game-tying three runs in the bottom of the seventh by scoring twice in the eighth.

After a single and error, Brandon Gomm singled in a run and the other scored on a passed ball.

Shiocton starter Jake Dahlke went 713 innings, striking out five and walking three. Only four of the eight runs charged to him were earned.
