Special ticket and parking procedures have been put in place for the first Salesianum-St. Mark’s football game to be played at St. Mark’s on-campus stadium on Friday.
St. Mark’s is adding temporary bleachers, and a maximum of 4,500 tickets will be sold. No tickets will be sold at the gate. Tickets ($5) will be sold in the gym lobby at St. Mark’s from 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday and Thursday, while supplies last. On Tuesday, St. Mark’s athletic director Matt Smith said the school had 800 tickets remaining.
Salesianum will sell tickets from 11:20 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the school cafeteria. There will be a limit of two per person.
Parking at St. Mark’s will open at 5 p.m. Friday, with kickoff at 7:30. Smith said the school has 1,100 parking spots. Once the on-campus lots are filled, fans will be directed to park at the Pike Creek Shopping Center, where shuttle buses will take them to and from the game.
“You must have a ticket to get on campus that evening,” Smith said. “You must have a ticket to get on the shuttle bus in satellite parking. We don’t want people who don’t have a ticket coming on campus, because there will be no tickets for sale Friday night.”
After the game, the gate allowing access to Videre Drive will be opened to relieve congestion.
