BUFFALO, N.Y.- Powered by a balanced three-phase attack, Bishop Timon-St. Jude rolled visiting Williamsville South, 36-13, at Tifft Field.
The Tigers feel behind early in the first quarter, 7-0, but came right back.
With Timon-St. Jude driving in the first quarter, quarterback Derick Simpson connected with Layne Collins on 4th down and long to set up the Tigers in the red zone. Collins added a kick off return for a touchdown later in the game.
Timon-St. Jude capped the drive when Simpson dumped the ball off to Gavin Caulfield, who rumbled in from 13 yards out. The Tigers went for the two-point conversion and Caulfield ran it to take an 8-7 lead. They never looked back.
Caulfield also finished with a 1-yard touchdown run.
