Titusville High School athletes suspended over 'Harlem Shake' video

By

Three Titusville athletes have been suspended after a video showing them doing the “Harlem Shake” appeared on YouTube.
Several other Titusville High athletes said that the three pulled down their pants to reveal their boxers during the video, which has been removed from YouTube. The video – which followed the trend of dancing to 30 seconds of the song ‘Harlem Shake’ by Baauer – had nearly 700 views before being removed.
Mark Tate, a student at Titusville, filmed the video and posted it to his YouTube account, which has over 66,000 views.
Tate had posted on his Twitter account regarding the video:
“This Harlem Shake video has gotten more attention and talk than my Space Coast video. Quite the achievement. #FreeTHSBaseball”
“I don’t even play baseball….lmao!”
“We’re almost trending”
Many area high school students have also been tweeting with the hashtag #FreeTHSBaseball to show support.
