OCTAVIA BARNES, Hinds AHS: Pulled down 18 rebounds and scored 10 points in a 63-41 loss to Byers in the 1A title game.

KIERRA JORDAN, Lanier: Had 19 points, 6 blocks and 5 rebounds in a 45-38 5A semifinal loss to South Jones.

LANIKKI McMILLIAN, Pontotoc: Totaled 26 points and 16 rebounds for a 4A semifinal victory over Raymond and a championship game loss to Bay.

SHANIA POSEY, South Jones: Led the Lady Braves to a 45-38 5A semifinal win over Lanier with 24 points and 7 rebounds.

ESSENCE PULLIAM, Forest Hill: Had 13 rebounds, 10 points, 3 blocks and 2 assists in a 57-37 6A semifinal win over Horn Lake.

CHRISTA REED, Bay: Totaled 45 points, 17 rebounds and 8 blocks, leading the Lady Tigers to the 4A championship with wins over North Pontotoc and Pontotoc.

TERRICA WILLIAMS, Bay: Scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a 65-42 win over Pontotoc for the 4A title, completing a perfect season.

DALLAS PRATER, St. Andrew’s: Won the St. Andrew’s Invitational high jump (6-6) and long jump (20-113/4).

JOHN LUKE WATTS, Columbia Academy: Finished first in the 1600 in 4:26.11 and the 3200 (11:19) in a meet at Presbyterian Christian.

CHAUNCEY WELLS, Meridian: Was a double winner at the Wildcat Relays for the long jump (22-31/4) and the triple jump (43-101/2).

ARTHI REDDY, Clinton: Was a 6-0, 6-1 winner in girls singles in a 5-2 victory over Brandon.



ROSS BELL, Germantown: Was medalist in a 3-team match at Canton CC with a 4-under par 68, leading the Mavericks to victory.

DAVIS RILEY, Presbyterian Christian: Fired an even-par 72 for medalist honors in a 12-team match at Wolf Hollow.
