Mosinee senior Sarah Vils broke her own Great Nothern Conference record in the 200-meter dash to win the event at the Great Northern Conference meet Thursday.
Vils’ time of 26.11 seconds eclipsed her mark of 26.37 that she set in 2011. In the 400, she posted a time of 1:01.36 to lead Mosinee to a third-place finish in the girls’ standings.
Grace Michelson reached 9 feet, 6 inches to win the pole vault and lead the Tomhawk girls to a runner-up finish.
Bryan Tomek was a double winner for the Tomahawk boys, winning the 800-meter run in 2 minutes, 3.82 seconds and the 1,600 in 4:34.86.
Nathan Dulak won the 200 (22.28) and Austin McCarthy the shot put (46-0) as the Mosinee boys finished fourth in the team standings.
Minocqua Lakeland won both team championships.
