Lakewood’s boys track team finished first out of four teams at Newark Catholic with 84 points.
Lakewood girls finished first at Newark Catholic out of four teams with 108 points.
Newark Catholic boys came in second out of four teams with 75 points. First-place finishers for the Green Wave were Quinn Nutter in 300 hurdles (43.4) and 110 hurdles (18.3), Madison Arnold discus (109-5) and the 400 relay of Blake Baker, Kevin Bourne, Luke Ceneviva and Cole Buchanan (46.2).
The Green Wave girls also finished second out of four teams with 78 points. First-place finishers for NC were MiKi Reid in the 3,200 meter run (13:13), 1,600 meter run (5:55), Reid, Mary Richardson, Teresa Crum and Mickayla Messer in the 3,200 meter relay (11:01) and Messer in the 200 (28.5). Erikka Murphy also won the 100 hurdles (17.7) and high jump (4-4) and Richardson won the 800 meter run (2:40).
