We might need to expand the list of nominees for High School Football Play of the Week, because fiveisn’tenough, at least not this week.

The play below comes from Connecticut, where Ludlowe (Fairfield) trailed Harding (Bridgeport) 31-29 in the final minutes. After taking a snap from his own 34-yard line, Ludlowe senior QB Matt White lofted a pass in the direction of Mike Arman. What happened next defied all logic.

After Arman tipped the ball, it bounced off of his defender’s hands and then a teammate’s facemask before he made the catch.

“The ball tipped and I was just there,” Arman told the New Haven Register. “I caught it and just kept running.”

Simple as that.
