Quinn Barnhart and Kellen Komenda combined on a one-hitter and Unatego used a five-run second inning to beat visiting Tioga, 7-2, in the Section 4 Class C baseball quarterfinals Monday.

Barnhart allowed a run, struck out 10, and walked seven in six innings. Tanner Folk hit an infield single in the sixth to break up the no-hit bid.

Jon Wingate was 2-for-4 and scored two runs. Phil Youngs finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Lucas DeJoy was 2-for-3.

Unatego advanced to play at second-seeded Lansing at 4:30 today. The final is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Broome Community College.
