Licking Valley’s Quincy Robinson and Zach Crouse took the top two spots in the long jump Saturday at Capital University.
Robinson jumped 21-feet-9.75, and Crouse followed at 21-7.75. Crouse also placed third in the pole vault, clearing 13-6. Valley’s Neil Bailey added a second in the shot put (50-10.75) and a fourth in the weight throw (48-6.5), and the Panthers were fourth in the 1,600 relay (3:47.26).
The Lakewood 1,600 relay of Chandler McAlpine, Levi Mack, David Briggs and Wyatt Dixon won in 3:36.93. Mack added a second in the 800 (2:04.21), and Major Henry placed fourth in the high jump (6-0).
Sheridan’s Matt Bromley won the 3,200 (9:52.15), and Watkins Memorial’s Mike McKean placed third in the 1,600 (4:37.99). Watkins’ Luke Ronay was second in the triple jump (38-8.75), and Nic Eader was fourth in the shot put (48-0.75).
In the girls meet, Watkins’ Josie Woosley won the 1,600 (5:36.56), and Stephanie Robb placed second in the 400 (1:01.31). Sheridan’s Natalie Eberts was third in the pole vault (9-0), and Northridge was second in the 1,600 relay (4:45.36) and fourth in the 800 relay (1:56.40).
