DENVER – Valor Christian continues its dominance of high school football in Colorado, as the Eagles won their fifth consecutive state championship and second straight Class 5A title Saturday with a convincing 56-16 victory over Fairview.

Valor established its dominance early and scored three touchdowns on its first four plays of the game, jumping to a 21-0 lead with 5:50 remaining in the first quarter.

Christian McCaffrey had another impressive day, as he rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns, along with five receptions for 92 yards and two more touchdowns.

Quarterback A.J. Cecil also had a big day for Valor through the air, finishing the day 15-of-16 passing for 246 yards and four touchdowns.
