Valor Christian senior sprinter MaryBeth Sant ran the fastest 100M dash in the country this season Friday at the St. Vrain Invitational in Longmont.
Sant’s time was 11.38 seconds, which was a .11 improvement from her time the previous weekend when she ran a 11.49. That time was only .02 seconds off the fastest time of the season and Sant wasted no time besting it.
The 11.38 puts her .09 seconds faster then any other female high schooler in the country.
She is approaching the all-classification Colorado state record of 11.31 seconds.
The all-time high school national record is 11.14 set by Marion Jones.
