Space Coast’s no-huddle offense proved to be too much for Harmony to handle as the Vipers raced their way to a 43-26 victory against the Longhorns on Friday night.
The Vipers opened the first half with 21 unanswered points before the Longhorns were able score a touchdown of their own midway through the second quarter, but by then Space Coast had already hit its stride, scoring three more times in an easy opening-week victory.
Space Coast’s senior quarterback, Nick Rittenhouse, had a huge game, gaining 278 total offensive yards and scoring three touchdowns.
He passed for 192 yards.
Alec Dansereau had six catches for 84 yards and a touchdown.

We play with a chip on our shoulder. People in this county are going to start to take notice of us,” Space Coast head coach Jake Owens said.
