FOLSOM, CA – The Vista del Lago Eagles are gearing up to have another successful season under a new head coach Mike Struebing.
Struebing, the Eagles former quarterback coach has taken over the reins from former head coach, Chris Jones this season, who resigned unexpectedly in the offseason. He coached the Eagles since the birth of the program in the 2007 season. Previously, Jones was the head coach of his alma mater at Oak Ridge for 13 seasons.
Last year, the Eagles finished with a 12-2 record, making it to the division three championship game. While Vista did end up losing to Oakdale, 42-12 it was a milestone for the team making it that far.
