WEST SENECA, N.Y.- The sun may set in the west, but the battle for West Seneca supremacy remains in the East.

The Trojans totaled seven takeaways, including six interceptions, en route to a 20-0 win over their crosstown rivals.

West Seneca East came into the game one week after a tough loss to South Park.

East coach Jim Maurino said his defense played “outstanding” and “the offense played well enough to win.”

Tyler Skretny rushed for a short score to give the Trojans a 7-0 lead in the second quarter. It was all East from there.

Trojans Running back Brandon Day ran the ball 16 times for 88 yards.
