The host Wall High School boys swim team pushed its record to 4-0 with a 100-69 victory over Point Pleasant Boro in non-divisional action Tuesday at the Neptune Aquatic Center.

Wall’s Crimson Knights received wins from the 200-yard medley relay team (1:51.08), Grant Foster (50 freestyle, 23:66), Shane Maypother (100 butterfly, 1:01.13), Blake Foster (100 freestyle, 1:00.90), 200 freestyle relay team (1:41.05) and Sean McNichols (100 backstroke, 1:09.5).

The Panthers’ Phil Binaco captured the 200 free (1:51.85) and 500 free (5:32.02).

MANASQUAN 137, RARITAN 27: James Grieb and Jake Hegha each won two events, leading the Warriors past the Rockets in Shore Conference Class A Central.

Grieb won the fly in 1:03.43 and the breaststroke in 1:10.52. Hegha took the 100 free in 50.13 and the 100 backstroke in 55.38.

BRICK MEMORIAL 90.5, BRICK 74.5: Dylan McKelvey, Brian Brow and Pablo Cortez each doubled, leading the Mustangs past the Green Dragons in Class A South.

McKelvey swam to firsts in the 200 freestyle (2:02.37) and 100 butterfly (1:03.20). Brow won the 50 freestyle (23.51) and 100 freestyle (52.22). Cortez captured the 200 indvidual medley (2:15.84) and 100 breaststroke (1:10.54).

BARNEGAT 95, LONG BRANCH: 75: The Bengals sped past the Green Wave in non-divisional action.

Barnegat’s Billy Breunig won the 200 free (1:58.90) and 500 free (5:36.72). Teammate Joshua Aguilar captured the 200 individual medley (2:29.12) and 100 backstroke (1:06.46).

Girls swimming

MANASQUAN 130, RARITAN 40: Led by doubles from Sara Hegna and Katie McElduff, the Warriors downed the Rockets in Class A Central.

Hegna was the first to touch in the 200 individual medley (2:30.29) and 100 backstroke (1:07.51). McElduff won the 50 freestyle (27.10) and 100 freestyle (1:00.88). Raritan’s Danielle Largman won the 100 butterfly in 1:09.17.

BRICK MEMORIAL 111, BRICK 59: Led by two wins from JayLeen Murray, the Mustangs bested the Green Dragons in Class A South.

Murray captured the 200 freestyle (2:21.18) and 100 butterfly (1:11.77). Brick’s Sidney Sherman won the 200 individual medley (2:30.69) and 100 breaststroke (1:15.69).

LONG BRANCH 96, BARNEGAT 74: Hayley Masi, Emily Balina, Hannah Elliott and Isabelle Pabon each won two events, propelling the Green Wave past the Bengals in non-divisional action.

Masi swam to success in the 200 freestyle (2:10.84) and 100 breast stroke (1:16.24). Balina won the 50 freestyle (28.34) and 100 freestyle (1:04.27). Elliott took the 100 butterfly (1:05.99) and 100 backstroke (1:05.96). Pabon snared the 200 individual medley (2:23.86) and 500 freestyle (5:49.63).

WALL 85, POINT BORO 85: The Crimson Knights and the Panthers battled to a non-divisional tie.

Wall’s Danielle Griggs won the 50 freestyle (26.91) and 100 freestyle (59.77). The Panthers’ Anne Skimmons captured the 100 butterfly (1:02.19) and 100 breaststroke (1:12.82).

Teammate Julia Ackerman was first in the 200 individual medley (2:29.82) and 100 backstroke (1:08.67).

The Panthers’ Carolyn Kern won the 200 freestyle (2:07.06) and 500 freestyle (5:42.07).

CENTRAL 115, TR SOUTH 55: Central coach Cindy Stout notched her 150th career win at the helm of the Golden Eagles in their non-divisional victory over the Indians.

Central senior Polina Dineva set a school record in the 100 butterfly, winning in 1:04.07.

Baseball

Three Shore Conference seniors have signed National Letters of Intent to play for Felician College — Jackson Liberty’s Danny Naif, Toms River North’s Steven Slagmolen and Raritan’s Bruce Strickland.

Naif, a 6-foot, 205-pounder, is a righthander who helped the Lions win Class B South during the spring. The Lions’ 2011 Freshman Pitcher of the Year, he intends to study elementary education.

Slagmolen is an Honor Roll student and a right-handed pitcher. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder won the Mariners’ Coaches Award in 2013. He will major in business administration.

Strickland, a third baseman, was named the Rockets’ MVP in 2013. The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder helped Raritan to the 2012 NJSIAA Central Group II title. The Honor Roll student will study criminal justice.
