Victoria Wallace’s 12 assists and three kills led the visiting St. John Vianney girls volleyball team past Raritan, 2-0, in Shore Conference Class B North on Tuesday.
Laura Matsea added two kills and six digs for the Lancers (6-2, 3-2). Megan McGrony contributed two aces and five kills. Emma Heary added two kills.
For Raritan (5-6, 3-3), Justeen Adams had five kills and two aces. Nikki Morales notched two aces and two digs. Francesca Svoboda put seven assists and two digs into the book.
RUMSON 2, POINT BEACH 0: Led by Natalie Pellizzi’s 11 kills and three digs, the host Bulldogs (5-3, 4-1) beat the Garnet Gulls (1-8, 1-5).
Eleni Sourlis added 13 assists. Kate Edwards contributed seven kills. Nora Ryan and Erin Blewett added two aces and two digs, respectively.
For Point Pleasant Beach, Maddie White had three kills and five digs. Alex Russell added eight digs. Molly Conway contributed five assists.
BARNEGAT 2, BRICK 0: Meg Nichols and Sara Ridgway led the host Bengals (8-2) past Brick (1-9) in nondivisional action.
Nichols finished with five aces, five kills and six digs. Ridgway added two aces, four kills and three digs. Nicole Vazquez keyed Brick with two digs and five kills. Jen Ling added four blocks and two kills.
RED BANK CATHOLIC 2, HOLMDEL 0: Led by Sara Benjamin’s two kills, two digs, 12 assists and two aces, the visiting Caseys (8-1, 5-0) upended the Hornets (0-11, 0-5) in Class B North.
Kathleen Davin added three kills and four aces. Gillian Foley contributed three kills and four digs. Isabell Linde and Morgan McLoud each added two kills and two digs. Mary Yachnik contributed two digs, two assists and five aces.
Holmdel’s Domonique Balsamo put two kills and 12 digs into the book. Lana Kandalaft scrapped for 12 digs.
SOUTHERN 2, BRICK MEMORIAL 0: Alex Andriani’s seven assists and Marina Felmly’s five digs powered the host Rams (10-6, 5-1) past the Mustangs (2-7, 1-5) in Class A South.
Megan Wilk added three blocks. Alyssa Roselli led the Mustangs with seven assists. Kerry Larkin added six kills. Haley Hyland contributed five digs.
COLTS NECK 2, LONG BRANCH 0: Felicia Baldassare’s seven aces and 16 assists paced the visiting Cougars (8-4, 3-1) past the Green Wave (0-9, 0-4) in Class A North.
Morgan Citron added three aces, six digs and two kills. Courtney Young contributed two aces and four digs. Long Branch’s LizBeth Flores and Fernanda Castro notched five digs and two kills, respectively.

TR SOUTH 1, BRICK MEMORIAL 0: Sam Labianca scored the game-winning goal at 5:37 and Sam Bahr assisted on the play as the Indians (8-0, 7-0) defeated the Mustangs (3-4, 3-3) in a Class A South game. Toms River South’s Taylor Dean made four saves and Brick Memorial’s Ciara Korber made 13 saves
LACEY 2, SOUTHERN 1: Brittany Biele scored the game-winning goal at 50:00 and Rebekah Lawler assisted on the play as the Lions (4-4, 3-4) defeated the Rams (3-7-1, 0-5-1) in a Class A South game. Lawler also assisted on Jennifer Coleman’s goal at 38:00, which tied the game at 1-1. Lacey’s Sara Wright made six saves. Southern’s Cori Dengel scored at 20:00 and Kelsey Whittaker made 19 saves.
TOMS RIVER NORTH 3, TOMS RIVER EAST 0: Kayleigh Leschinski, Krista Federici and Nicole Logan each scored a goal for the Mariners (6-2, 5-2) in their Class A South victory over the Raiders (1-5-1, 1-5-1). Toms River North’s Alyssa Dell’Acqua had four saves and Toms River East’s Meaghan Sullivan had eight saves.
CENTRAL 3, MANCHESTER 0: Brooke Myers had one goal and one assist and Amanda Carolan and Katie Orlando each had a goal as the Golden Eagles defeated the Hawks in a Class B South game. Central’s Lindsey Mahnken made nine saves and Manchester’s Megan Euler had 17 saves.

Carol Middough had two goals and one assist and Jessica Welch and Carli Rosati each scored a goal as the Blue Devils (8-0-1) defeated Peddie in a nonconference game.
FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP 5, MIDDLETOWN NORTH 0: Freehold Township’s Lori Brennan, a two-year varsity starter, got her sixth shutout this season and in the process tied the school record for career shutouts, which is 19 currently held by Sarah Wolf. Sara O’Malley had two goals and one assist and Rachel Lodi had two assists as the Patriots (6-2, 5-0) defeated the Lions (3-5, 3-3). Middletown North’s Gabrielle Tsakivis made five saves.
ST. JOHN VIANNEY 3, RARITAN 1: Stephanie Noll, Brittany Richards and Jackie Gallagher each scored a goal for the Lancers (2-3-1, 2-2) as they defeated the Rockets (5-5, 1-4) in a Class A Central game. St. John Vianney’s Megan Guilbert made nine saves. Raritan’s Daniella Marino scored in the first half and Alexa Taddeo made 11 saves.
