CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y.-Cheektowaga and Burgard will play Saturday in a battle of unbeaten teams and the winner gets the division title.

Cheektowaga has beaten the Bulldogs the past two years. The Warriors know its going to be a battle. Sophomore running back Marshawn Gibson told Two On Your Side’s Stu Boyar what jumps out at you when you watch Burgard on tape. “Speed, power, athletic, real good team. Going to be a real good game. When I see Burgard on film their defensive line, they’re ready. Their linebackers fast, defensive line quick on their feet.”

Both teams have great speed. Senior quarterback Tim Whelan told Stu “Burgard is a real fast team, just like us.They have a lot of athletes out there like we do, they stay disciplined, they get to the ball really quick but I think if we stick to our game plan we’re going to do pretty well. “

Warriors coach Mike Fatta told Stu “they’re physical, they’re big, they’re athletic, they’ve got it all. They have no holes. The defensive line plays real well. They can handle the run with four guys which makes their defense real good.”

Both teams are 5-0. Kickoff is scheduled for 2-pm Saturday.
