Waupun soccer blows out Kewaskum in EWC opener

The Waupun boys soccer team dominated hosted and dominated Kewaskum Monday evening in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference-opener for both teams, routing the Indians 7-0.

Five different players scored for the Warriors (3-2, 1-0), while Kewaskum (0-3) helped them with two own goals in the first half.

Senior Ryan Durant had a goal and two assists, while Waupun put 35 shots on goal and allowed only two.

Griffin Vande Zande, Jacob Dommissee, Tim Lind and Jorge Meza all found the net for Waupun.

The Warriors play at Kiel Thursday.
