Waupun 3-2, Plymouth 1-4

The Warriors moved to 8-6 on the season after splitting a doubleheader with Plymouth, winning 3-1 in game one while falling 4-2 in eight innings in the second game.

In game one, Tiffany Killam picked up the win despite the Warriors coming away with only three hits. Killam allowed a first inning run but didn’t allow another one after that. She added 10 strikeouts. Kelsey Thompson led the game off with a leadoff home run and finished the day 2-for-3 with a home run and 2 RBIs.

In game two, Plymouth scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game and scored another two runs in the eighth to come away with the win. Mikayla Holdridge hit the 2-run homer in the eighth to lift Plymouth. Killam picked up the loss, going eighth innings, allowing four runs on 6 hits.

Thompson, Holly Loomans and Joslyn Kounelis each added two hits in the loss.
