Sheboygan Falls 65, Waupun 54

With a share of the Eastern Wisconsin Conference title on the line for the Warriors, they were outscored 18-5 in the second quarter and couldn’t recover after trailing 35-19 at halftime.

Matt Wilke poured in 25 points for the Falcons (15-7, 10-4), while Connor Clark added 19. Mason Domask and Cody Zimmerman had 19 and 16 for Waupun (17-5, 11-3).

The Warriors cut the lead to five at one point in the fourth quarter but got no closer.

“That second quarter killed us,” Waupun coach Dan Domask said. “We didn’t bring the same intensity as Sheboygan did in that first half. They caught us a little flat-footed.”

With the Warriors’ loss, Plymouth claimed the outright EWC championship outright with its 70-52 win over New Holstein.
