Keys to the game: Tempo. Siegel wants a fast and furious approach on offense. Oakland wants a methodical, grind it out type game. The team able to control the tempo will win this game.

Riverdale (0-2, 0-1) at No. 6 Blackman (2-0, 1-0)

When: 7 p.m., today

Where: The Inferno

Keys to the game: Riverdale’s run game got on track in a loss to Bradley Central a week ago. But turnovers have been costly. Through two games, the Warriors are minus-5 in the turnover margin. Defensively, Riverdale must key on Jennings and take the run away from the dual-threat quarterback.

Antioch: QB Raekwon Hosey (66.5 passing ypg), RB Moses Cornelius (70.5 rushing ypg), RB Kebrin Peterson (69.5 rushing ypg), WR Michael Johnson (40 receiving ypg).

Keys to the game: Smyrna’s strong start to the season coincides with an emphasis on the run game. The Bulldogs are rushing for 250 yards a game through two games. Antioch must find a way to slow it down.

Huntland: QB Evan Ray (157.5 passing ypg), RB Cameron Mahaffey (99.5 rushing ypg), RB Cole Ashley (73.5 rushing ypg), LB Dorian Reed (22 tackles), DB Cameron Brannon (15 tackles).

Keys to the game: Eagleville has picked off five passes so far this game and is plus-5 in the turnover margin. But Ray will challenge the secondary. The Eagles’ passing game is getting better each week. Jordan should be able to pass on the Hornets’ secondary.

Mt. Juliet Christian: QB Riki Van Mali (182 passing ypg), WR Noah Wilson (53 receiving ypg), RB/LB Elliott Lee (29 rushing ypg).

Keys to the game: Van Mali, a left-handed quarterback, will challenge the Cougars’ secondary. MTCS should be able to exploit its experience, and may have more depth than the Saints, who have just eight seniors on the roster.
