A group of motorcycles helped usher in the season at North Augusta (S.C.).


Preseason Super 25 No. 1 Booker T. Washington made a statement in its nationally televised game against then-No. 6 Norcross (Ga.). Tornadoes QB and Florida State commit Treon Harris threw for five touchdowns in a 55-0 rout. Norcross wasn’t the only Super 25 team that opened the season with a loss.

Celebrity sightings at the Trinity-Ensworth game on Friday night.


Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.) running back Devontae Jackson made the most of this three carries.


Apopka (Fla.) QB Zack Darlington in happier times, executing a beautiful Statue of Liberty play in a loss to Byrnes. Later in the game, Darlington was airlifted to a local hospital after taking a brutal hit. He was later diagnosed with a concussion and returned home with his family on Sunday after staying overnight.
