West places first, City fourth at quadrangular swim meet

The West High boys swimming team scored 182 points and won a quadrangular meet Saturday at the Coralville Recreation Center. City High was fourth with 62 points.

The Trojans won eight events. Aidan Keen won the 200- and 500-yard freestyles, Oliver Martin won the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly, Will Scott won the 50 freestyle, Matt Anderson won the 100 breaststroke, and West won the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.

Andrew Parr won the 100 backstroke to lead the Little Hawks.

Team scores – 1. West High 182; 2. Dubuque Hempstead 137; 3. Dubuque Senior 117; 4. City High 62.
