West Salem’s season came to an end Saturday afternoon falling to No. 7 St. Mary’s Academy, 59-49.
“That was a physical game. We knew it would be,” said West Salem coach Jason Unruh. “I’m just really proud of these girls for the season they’ve had.”
The Titans were led in scoring by Ashley Scoggin with 22 and 10 points from Mary Savoy.
The Blues move on to the OSAA 6A Tournament and will play the winner of tonight’s 7 p.m. game between Southridge and South Medford at 8:15 p.m. March 7, at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland.
West Salem finishes the season with 23 wins and 4 losses.
