Wharton's Chase Litton Commits to USF

Tampa, Florida — Willie Taggart’s South Florida program picked up a major quarterback commitment from a local star on Monday.

Wharton High School incoming senior Chase Litton announced that he’ll play for the Bulls.

Litton tweeted a picture of himself and Taggart Monday afternoon with the message, “Officially a USF BULL !!!!”

Litton, listed at 6’6″ and 195 pounds by Yahoo! Sports, is the leading passer in Wharton history. Last season he threw for over 2,700 yards and 32 touchdowns for the Wildcats.

He chose USF over offers from schools like Stanford, LSU, and Florida Atlantic.
