Two fielding errors by Sheboygan Lutheran/Kohler led to four unearned runs for Two Rivers, as the Crusaders’ season ended earlier than expected in a 6-5 loss in the opening round of the WIAA summer baseball tournament on Tuesday at Lutheran.
The Crusaders (11-10), the No. 6 seed, trailed 3-0 after one inning and never tied it back up, though they did trail by one on three separate occasions.
The 11th-seeded Raiders (6-14) led 6-5 after five innings and made it stick to advance to Friday’s regional final round.
Paul Vicente, Nate Tures and Eric Bauer each had two hits for Lutheran/Kohler. Calvin Stefanczyk hit a two-run single in the fourth inning and Tures and Josh Pingel also knocked in runs.
Stefanczyk took the complete-game loss, allowing two earned runs on 10 hits with one walk and four strikeouts.
Brennan Willert went 2-for-3 with three RBI and Cory Johnson went 3-for-4 to lead Two Rivers.
Brett Linzmeier scattered 11 hits over five innings for the win, and Brett Kasper threw two scoreless for the save.
Campbellsport 11, Oostburg 10
Oostburg (10-11) rallied from a four-run deficit in the top of the seventh to tie the game, only to fall when the Cougars (8-13) scored on a two-out single to win it in walk-off fashion when the catcher dropped the ball on a play at the plate.

Kewaskum 5, Random Lake 1
The fourth-seeded Indians (14-9) got past the No. 13-seed Rams (5-12) in Kewaskum.
Reed Anklam took the complete-game loss, allowing one earned run on six hits with five walks, three hit batsmen and six strikeouts. The defense behind him committed six errors.
Logan Martin had a double and Jalen Weyker, Jake Schwan and Brandon Depies singled for the Rams.
Mike Holt got the win, going six innings, allowing four hits with seven strikeouts and two walks. Brett Boegel had two hits. Kewaskum stole six bases.
Three Tuesday playoff games involving area teams were postponed to today due to rain.
Ozaukee hosts Kiel at 5 p.m., Cedar Grove-Belgium hosts Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah at 5 p.m. and Howards Grove hosts New Holstein at 7:30 p.m., with the winners advancing to Friday’s regional finals.
Howards Grove 4
At Howards Grove, Ozaukee grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first inning and took the lead for good with a three-run sixth inning.
Lee Wysocki earned the win as he pitched six innings, striking out four, walking three and allowing three hits.
Wysocki’s single and stolen base in the first ignited the Warriors as he was driven home on a Zac Beck single. Beck then advanced home as Mike Richter earned the RBI with a walk.
In the third, Howards Grove scored as Terry Fritsch picked up a walk to to score Zach Fritz.
