WIAA boys basketball regional semifinals: Minzlaff leads Bay Port past Manitowoc

SUAMICO – Steven Minzlaff poured in a game-high 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Bay Port to a 65-53 victory over Manitowoc on Saturday in a WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal boys basketball game.

Ty Sagal had 11 points and Ryan Grabig added 10 for Bay Port. They will travel to Sheboygan North Monday night in a regional final game.

Aaron Moesch led all scorers with 16 points as host Southwest held on for the victory.

The Trojans entered the fourth quarter with a 10-point lead, but had to come up with a pair of defensive stops on Kimberly’s final two possessions to seal the win.
