Trailing 2-1 after four innings, the No. 4-seeded Roncalli softball team scored 10 runs in the fifth inning to defeat host No. 1 Reedsville 12-2 on Tuesday in a regional semifinal of the WIAA Division 3 State Softball Tournament.
Chloe Sebo took the complete-game loss, allowing nine earned runs on 13 hits and four walks with one strikeout as the Panthers committed six errors. She did not allow an extra base hit.
Christine Roberts earned the complete-game win, allowing two earned runs on four hits and one walk with 10 strikeouts.
Offensively for Roncalli, Katy Orth was 4-for-5 with two runs, Elizabeth Kuenzi was 2-for-3 with four runs and Roberts helped her own cause by going 3-for-4 with a run and three RBI.
Rachel Moczynski was 1-for-3 for Roncalli with two RBI and one run while teammates Hannah Severin and McKenzie Miller were each 1-for-4 with one run.
For Reedsville, Lauren Holschbach was 1-for-3 with a double and one run while Kayla Sheahan was 1-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and one run. Also for the Panthers, Cassie Wagner was 1-for-2 and Melisa Kalies was 1-for-1 with one walk.
Roncalli advances to host No. 7 Kewaunee on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
Kewaunee 10, Mishicot 6

DIVISION 1 Bay Port 12, Manitowoc Lincoln 2
At No. 4 Bay Port, No. 13 Lincoln’s Sabrina Luedtke was 1-for-3 with a two-run home but the Ships recorded only three other hits in the road loss.
Lainey Braun and Alex Luedtke were each 1-for-3 for Lincoln while Shayna Schroeder was 1-for-2 with a walk and one run.
Kaitlin Sukowaty took the loss as she started and pitched four innings, allowing nine earned runs on 11 hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Hannah Spindler pitched 11⁄3 innings of relief for Lincoln, allowing three earned runs on three hits with two walks and four strikeouts.
DIVISION 2 Waupun 11, Kiel 6
Brooke Goehring took the loss as No. 4 Kiel fell at No. 1 Waupun.
She threw six innings and allowed 11 earned runs on 11 hits and eight walks with six strikeouts.
For Kiel, Brenna Spencer was 2-for-4, Katie Kracht was 2-for-4 with a double and Geohring was 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI.
Waupun scored in every inning but the fifth while Kiel netted four in the seventh.
DIVISION 4 Oakfield 6, Manitowoc Lutheran 0
