AMHERST, N.Y.-Williamsville South beat Pioneer 7-0 in the Section 6 Class A semifinals Tuesday afternoon at Amherst High School.

Senior Carissima Cutrona scored four goals to lead the Billies. Cutrona now has 38 goals on the season. Cutrona also had three assists giving her 11 points for the game. Junior Fiona Dargan assisted on Cutrona’s first three goals. Sophomore Elizabeth Moore set up Cutrona’s final goal.

Sophomore Jamie Boyar scored the other three goals for South. Boyar has 14 goals on the season.

Rachel Grammp made two saves for South. For Pioneer Jacque Law finished with 14 saves.

South will take on Hamburg for the Section 6 Class A title Saturday afternoon at Amherst. Hamburg beat Grand Island 3-2 in overtime. Kara Daly scored all three goals for Hamburg including the game winner one minute into sudden death overtime. Julia Whipple had eight saves for Hamburg. Kickoff is scheduled for 4-pm.
