HAMBURG, N.Y.-Two unbeaten teams met at Hamburg Tuesday afternoon as the Bulldogs hosted the Billies from Williamsville South. When it was over South brought home a 2 to 1 win to remain unbeaten on the season.

Hamburg opened the scoring in the 26th minute of the first half. The Bulldogs scored when Kara Daly put in a rebound off a corner kick. It was her 14th goal of the season. Amy Villarini assisted on the goal.

The score remained that way until the 11th minute of the second half when Vicki Crocker fired a shot over Hamburg keeper Julia Whipple to tie the score. It was the third goal of the season for the junior. Carissima Cutrona got an assist on the goal.

Cutrona who has verbally committed to Colgate got the game winner at the 26 minute mark from sophomore Jamie Boyar. It was the fourth goal of the season for Cutrona.

For Hamburg Whipple made 8 saves. For South Rachel Grammp finished with six saves.

South improves to 4-0 this season while Hamburg drops to 4-1-1 on the year.
