Athletic achievementHe has led the Papermaker to a 14-2 record and first place in the Fox Valley Association, with the Division I state tournament scheduled to begin June 11. At the time of his selection, Schreiber owned a 7-0 record with a 0.95 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 38 innings. A 2012 First Team All-Conference selection, he also batted .540 with six home runs, 20 RBI and a 1.808 slugging percentage through 16 games.

Academic excellenceSchreiber has maintained a 3.5 GPA. 

Exemplary characterAn accomplished trumpet player in his school’s concert band, he has volunteered locally on behalf of multiple community service initiatives in association with his church youth group.


“Scott Schreiber is the real deal,” said Nick Carlson, head coach at Menasha (Wis.). “He hits, fields and pitches as well if not better than anyone else I have seen.”

THE FUTURESchreiber will be a senior next year.
