Allison Wolff had the perfect answer Thursday night.

The Oshkosh West freshman netted the go-ahead goal about a minute after Slinger had tied the match late in the second half as the Wildcats pulled out a 2-1 win in their regular-season finale.

Kathryn Ruark assisted on Wolff’s goal, which came in the 78th minute and secured the win in a game where West led much of the contest.

Erika Spanbauer had given the Wildcats the lead midway through the first half off an assist from Megan Paulick and West remained in front until Slinger tied the match in the 77th minute.

Olivia Angle made 8 saves in goal for West (8-6).
