Random Lake’s wrestling team capped an undefeated regular season with a resounding 59-12 dual win over Central Lakeshore Conference opponent Cedar Grove-Belgium on Tuesday.

Jake Schwan (220 pounds) pinned his Rockets opponent, Daniel Gjertson, in about 5 minutes, 29 seconds. And 132-pound teammate Zak Stepniewski pinned his Cedar Grove foe, Devon Villareal, in about 1:49.

Alex May (285) gave Cedar Grove its only contested victory with a pin (in 53 seconds) over Chris Lewis.

Otherwise, both teams wrestled to decided matches, all of which went Random Lake’s way. Cedar Grove won the 106-pound match by forfeit, and the 145-pound match was a double-forfeit.

A trio of Panthers wrestlers won by pinfall, but it was not enough as Plymouth dropped the road Eastern Wisconsin Conference dual.

Keegan Gustin (113), Austin Wiese (145) and Jake Ohman (152) all scored pins for Plymouth and Christian Flores (160) won by major decision.

The Panthers were hurt by five forfeits.
