Zanesville WBA holding 'Helping Hands Tourney'

The Zanesville Women’s Bowling Association is running its ‘Helping Hands Tournament’ from Sunday-Dec. 14 to benefit service men’s and women’s families and disabled veterans in need.

Teams consist of three men and/or women and will be bowled during regular league nights. Scores should include your handicap for that night, then sent to M. J. O’Hare at 17 S. Pembroke Ave. Apt. D.

Cost is $5 per a bowler, all of which goes towards making up the baskets. The event helped make six baskets in 2012.

Door prizes will be given out after the tournament to participating bowlers, and donations of non-perishable goods also will be required with your entry.
