A pair of 400 series were enough to keep the Zanesville girls bowling team perfect Thursday.

Tamaira Hina rolled a 243-434 series and Erika Savage posted a 247-425 as the Lady Devils topped Lancaster 2,119-1,758 to improve to 8-0 on the season after the South Central Ohio Conference match at Sunrise Strikes.

Zanesville (7-0 SCOC) had Baker games of 150 and 162. Lancaster was led by Autumn Cooney with a 212-385.

The Zanesville boys (5-2 SCOC, 6-2) won 2,380-2,185 behind a 248-430 by Brandon Travis, a 211-411 from Matt Devoll, a 220-402 by Scottie Gifford, and a 227-382 by Wyatt Miller. The Blue Devils rolled Baker games of 233 and 196.

Brandon Cooney had a 230-451 and Tanner Castle a 214-400 for Lancaster.

The Zanesville reserve boys won 1,768-1,652. Nick Malek’s 183-337 and Brandon Lear’s 172-330 led Zanesville. Tyler Thornton paced Lancaster with a 181-326.
