ZIONSVILLE – Despite Jordan Young’s hitting and pitching, McCutcheon lost to Zionsville 3-1 on Monday in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference baseball game.
Young went 2-for-3 with the Mavericks’ lone RBI. He allowed one earned run on four hits and a walk with striking out two in six innings.
Zionsville’s Parker Dunshee gave up six hits and struck out three to earn the victory.

DELPHI – Erik Carpenter pitched a three-hit shutout, striking out four to lead the Oracles
Carpenter also had two hits and an RBI. Jason Sterrett added two hits, including a triple and 2 RBIs, and Codey Sattler had two doubles and an RBI to lead the 11- hit attack.
Jacob Stucky had two of the three Bison base hits.

Vernon Ford drove in three runs and Derrick Grass had three hits to back a combined three-hitter by Sam Ewing and Dominick Emerson.
Ewing, the winning pitcher, struck out four in four innings for the Eagles.

WEST LEBANON – Jordan Stover had three hits, including a home run, to power the Patriots’ 16-hit attack.
Zach Stitt and Josh Orahood also had three hits apiece for Seeger (6-1). Winning pitcher Caleb Orahood, Jake Fell and Steven Schall contributed two hits apiece.
Brinton Sieferman went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs for North Montgomery (3-1).
South Newton 2
KENTLAND – JR Dunwell went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two RBI, leading the Red Ramblers (5-3) in a rout.
Austin Smyth added three hits and two RBI to make a winner of Jordan Capps (4-0), who went the distance, striking out eight.
Jarrett Hammel homered for the Rebels.
Twin Lakes 3
Chloe McAchren pitched a four-hitter for the Indians and drove in a run.
Hunter Bridge tripled and had an RBI for Harrison (4-3).
DELPHI – Summer Sutton allowed four hits, no earned runs and struck out 10 to lead the Oracles (5-3).
Sutton also hit a two-run homer to help Delphi build a 6-0 lead after three innings. Olivia Bieghler also contributed to the fast start with a two-run single.
CHALMERS – An 11-run first inning was more than enough for Madison Hurst, who fired a two-hitter and struck out eight.
Brynleigh Jensen and Lindsey Hiner each went 2-for-2 for the Falcons.
DANVILLE – Taylor Kirby went 2-for-5 with two runs scored for the Hot Dogs.
ROCKVILLE – McKenzie Jordan struck out 12, and Rachel Welliever went 3-for-3 with two RBIs for the Mounties (5-2).
