Grand Island and Timon/ St. Jude lead with the most 1,000 yard passers in a season.
The Vikings and Tigers lead with 14 followed by South Park and Sweet Home with 13, and St. Francis and Williamsville South with 11 each. 79 schools have had a passer throw for 1000 yds and 16 have thrown for over 2000 yds in a season. The record is currentyl held by Jamestowns, Jake Sisson, who threw for 3184 yds in 2013 breaking the old record of 3050 yds held by St, Joes, Chad Kelly in 2011.
