James Silk, Wilson
In his third season at the helm of the Tigers, Silk led the program to its 22nd consecutive D.C. Interscholastic Athletic Association championship.

 

FIRST TEAM

SS A.J. Lee (PLAYER OF THE YEAR), St. John’s College, Jr.
The District of Columbia Gatorade Player of the Year and the first-team All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference selection batted .470 with 23 runs scored. The middle infielder also tallied 15 stolen bases.

PConnor Van Hoose, Gonzaga, Sr.
The first-team All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference honoree posted a 6-0 record and a 0.93 ERA. The right-handed pitcher struck out 48 batters in 45 innings.

P Jimmy Swad, St. Albans, Sr.
The Georgetown University signee compiled a 4-0 record and a save while posting a 2.16 ERA and tallying 40 strikeouts.

C Scott Beumel, Wilson, Sr.
The Carnegie Mellon University signee batted .456, posted a .598 on-base percentage, scored 20 runs and drove in 19 runs.

1B Matt Levy, Sidwell Friends, Sr.
A team captain, Levy batted .259 and maintained a .487 on-base percentage in 13 games.

2B Jake Bernstein, St. John’s College, Sr.
The All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference honorable mention honoree batted .337 and boasted a .509 on-base percentage.

3B Adrian Peralta, St. John’s College, Sr.
The All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference second-team honoree batted .337, scored 22 runs and drove in 27 runs.

OF Sam Lipscomb, Sidwell Friends, Sr.
An All-Mid-Atlantic Conference selection, Lipscomb boasted a .316 batting average and only struck out nine times in 24 games.

OF Mike Schmandt, St. Albans, Sr.
The upperclassman compiled a .400 batting average and a .471 on-base percentage. Schmandt tallied nine doubles, a home run and 26 RBI.

OF Brodie Leftridge, St. John’s College, Sr.
The first-team All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference selection posted a .320 batting average, scored 29 runs and tallied 22 RBI. The University of Tennessee signee also stole 21 bases.
