Coach of Year

Sharman White, Miller Grove (Lithonia)
Coached his team to a state-record sixth consecutive title. His team rallied after the preseason death of freshman Terrell “Too Tall” Coleman, who collapsed during an all-star game. White has been the basketball coach and athletic director at Miller Grove since the school opened in 2005.

First Team

G Tadric Jackson, Tift County (Tifton), 6-2, Sr.
Georgia Tech signee averaged 18.8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the 29-3 Class 6A state champions.

G Tookie Brown, Morgan County (Madison), 5-10, Jr.
Mississippi State recruit averaged 25 points for the Class 3A state champion.

F Isaiah Wilkins, Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross), 6-7, Sr.
Player of Year and University of Virginia signee averaged 18.6 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.5 blocks for 32-0 Class 2A state champion.

F JaKeenan Gant, Effingham County (Springfield), 6-8, Sr.
Kent State University recruit averaged 21.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, 4 blocks and 3 assists.

F Jaylen Brown, Wheeler (Marietta), 6-7, Jr.
Averaged 20 points and 5 assists for the Class 6A state runner-up.
