Coach of the Year

Tyrone Slaughter, Whitney Young 
Guided Whitney Young to the No. 10 spot in USA Today's Super 25 rankings and a 4A state championship. 

First Team 

G Jalen Brunson, Stevenson (Lincolnshire), 6-2, Jr. 
The junior phenom averaged 26.1 points per game and set a tournament record with 56 points in his team's loss in the 4A semifinals.

G Tyler Ulis, Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights), 5-9, Sr. 
Ulis may lack size, but he doesn't lack athleticism. The Kentucky signee averaged 23.3 points, 6.8 assists and 2.8 steals per game.   

C Cliff Alexander, C, SR, Curie (Chicago), 6-9 Sr. 
The Kansas commit averaged 25 points and 16 rebounds a game, and led his team to a 26-1 record and a city title this season. 

C Jahlil Okafor, Whitney Young (Chicago), Sr. (Player of the Year) 
USA Today's National Player of the Year, Okafor averaged 27.6 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. He led his team to the 4A state title this season. Committed to Duke.

F Sean O’Mara, Benet Academy (Lisle), 6-9, Sr. 
The Xavier commit averaged 23 points and 13 rebounds per game, and was very efficient from the floor (shot better than 60 percent).

G Larry Austin Jr., Springfield Lanphier, 6-1, Sr. 

G Peyton Allen, Glenwood (Chatham), 6-5 , Sr.

F Keita Bates-Diop, University (Normal), 6-7, Sr. 

F Milik Yarbrough, Zion-Benton, 6-9, Sr. 

F Paul White, Whitney Young (Chicago), 6-9, Sr.
