Coach of the Year

Corry Irvin, Whitney Young

Led Whitney Young to the 11th spot in the USA Today Super 25 rankings as the team won its second 4A title in three years under Irvin. 

First Team

G Tyra Buss, Mt. Carmel, 5-7, Sr. (Player of the Year)
The Player of the Year dominated at the Class 2A level, averaging 45.8 points per game and setting state records for most points in a season (1,466) and career (4,897).  Committed to Indiana. 

G Jackie Kemph, Rolling Meadows, 5-6, Sr. 
The St. Louis commit averaged more than 20 points and 8 assists per game. Team lost in Class 4A state final.

C Khaalia Hillsman, Whitney Young (Chicago), 6-5, Sr. 
Led her team to a Class 4A state title. The Texas A&M commit averaged a double-double (14 points, 13 rebounds) per game. 

F Haley Gorecki, Fremd (Palatine), 6-0, Jr.
Averaged 22.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. 

F Jasmine Lumpkin, Joliet Catholic Academy (Joliet), Sr. 
Michigan State commit led her team in scoring (17.9 ppg) and rebounding (9.1 rpg).

Second Team 

G Liza Fruendt, Batavia, 5-8, Sr. 

G Khadaizha Sanders, Bishop McNamara (Kankakee), 5-5, Jr. 

G Meghan Waldron, Wheaton Warrenville South, 5-10, Sr.

F/C Celina VanHyfte, Edwardsville, 6 -2, Sr. 

F Chrissy Baird, Wheaton North, 6-1, Sr.
