Coach of the Year

Joe Russo, Portland
Navigated a tough road to a state title as Portland knocked off Bonny Eagle and Hampden Academy for Maine bragging rights. 

First Team

G Dustin Cole, Bonny Eagle (Standish), 5-9, Sr. (Player of the Year) 
Player of the Year filled the stat lines with averages of 24.5 points, 7.8 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game. Finished with most career points (1,812) in school history. 

G Jayvon Pitts-Young, Portland, 6-2, Sr. 
Member of state championship team who averaged 12.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.8 steals. 

C Matt Talbot, Portland, 6-6, Sr. 
Averaged 16.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.8 blocked shots for state champions. 

F Isaiah Bess, Hampden Academy, 6-4, Sr. 
Averaged 12. 9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals. A finalist for Mr. Basketball honors. 

F Zachary Gilpin, Hampden Academy, 6-5, Sr. 
A top scorer (23.1 ppg) and rebounder (10.8 rpg) who was a finalist for Mr. Basketball honors.

G Tyler Thayer, Hermon, 5-10, Sr. 

G Justin Zukowski, Portland, 5-11, Sr. 

C Michael McDevitt, Greely (Cumberland Center), 6-8, Sr.
