COACH OF THE YEAR
 
Brent Boyd, Spanish Fort
Boyd led his team to the Class 5A state title. Spanish Fort won both games against Cullman in the best-of-three and finished 39-6.
 
FIRST TEAM
 
OF Sam Finnerty (PLAYER OF THE YEAR), Pelham, 6-1, Jr.
Finnerty hit .428 with eight home runs. He also stole 25 bases.
 
P Mason Duke, Spain Park (Hoover), 5-11, Jr.
Finished 9-3 with 83 strikeouts and a 1.11 ERA, helping Spain Park to the Class 6A title.
 
P Cody Reed, Ardmore, 6-3, Sr.
Finished 10-2 with a 0.46 ERA, 226 strikeouts and helped Ardmore reach the Class 4A championship.
 
C Chase Smartt,  Charles Henderson (Troy), 5-10, Jr.
Smart was selected hitter of the year in Class 4A by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.
 
1B Lance Cleveland, Cullman, 5-11 Jr.
Cleveland hit .463 with a .545 on-base percentage. He knocked in 32 runs.
 
2B Caleb Ledbetter, Etowah (Attalla), 6-0, Sr.
Ledbetter hit .425 with 30 RBI in 36 games and had a  .993 fielding percentage.
 
SS Matt Sanders, Bob Jones (Madison), 5-11, Sr.
Sanders hit .531 and had a .603 on-base percentage.
 
3B Kyle Wright, Buckhorn (New Market), 6-3, Sr.
Wright hit .514 with 24 RBI and 24 runs scored.
 
OF Jamal Howard, Central (Phenix City), 6-3, Sr.
Howard, who signed with Alabama, hit .345 with 25 RBI. 
 
OF Malik Rosier, Faith Academy (Mobile), 6-2, Sr.
Rosier hit .400. He signed with Miami and plans to play football and baseball for the Hurricanes.

Kevin King, Chesapeake (Pasadena)
King guided Chesapeake to a 4A state championship. It was the first state championship for the school’s baseball team since 1997.

FIRST TEAM

C Justin Morris, (PLAYER OF THE YEAR) De Matha Catholic (Hyattsville), Sr.

The state's top catcher and a University of Maryland commit, Morris was taken by the Diamondbacks in the 35th round of this year's draft.

P Cody Morris, Reservoir (Fulton), Jr.
Morris, 8-1 with a 0.80 ERA, pitched a two-hitter in the 3A state championship game. He was Maryland's Gatorade Player of the Year.

P Peter Solomon, Mount Saint Joseph (Baltimore), Sr.

Solomon was selected in the 21st round of this year's MLB draft by the Padres.

1B Gavin Sheets, Gilman School (Baltimore), 6-4, Sr.
Sheets batted .400 with five home runs and 36 RBI. The Braves selected Sheets in the 37th round of this year's draft.

2B Robbie Metz,Poolesville, Sr.
Metz, who has committed to George Washington, was also an ace pitcher for Poolesville.

SS Isaiah Pasteur,Winters Mill (Westminster), Sr.
The University of Indiana commit hit .483 with nine doubles and 25 RBI. Pasteur was also a force on the mound, where he went 3-1 with a 2.29 ERA and 44 strikeouts.

3B Jamal Wade,St. Paul's (Owings Mills), Sr.
The University of Maryland commit showed how dominant he can be in a conference playoff win as he  pitched a complete game, striking out eight batters, and also hit a two-run home run.

OF Brady Acker,Atholton (Columbia), Sr.
The Baltimore Sun's All-Metro Player of the Year had a .541 batting average and hit 10 doubles, two triples and four home runs. He is committed to George Mason.  

OF Zac Ridgely,Archbishop Curley (Baltimore), Sr.
The Radford commit hit .365 with seven doubles and two home runs. Also went 5-2 on the mound with 78 strikeouts.

OF Troy Stokes, Calvert Hall College (Baltimore), Sr.
Stokes, a speedy center fielder, was selected by the Brewers in the fourth round of this year's MLB draft. He had a .325 batting average with four doubles and three homers.
