Coach of the Year:

Mary Cicerone, Marian (Birmingham)
Fifteen years had passed since Cicerone and Marian won a Class A state title back, but the drought came to an end in March when the Mustangs, who finished the 2013-14 season with a 25-2 record, overpowered Canton in the Class A title game. 

First Team

G Lexi Gussert, Forest Peak (Crystal Falls), 6-0, Sr. (Player of the Year)
A Michigan State Spartan beginning next fall, Gussert set a state record this season with 105 three-pointers to go along with 29.4 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists per game.

G Asia Doss, Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills), 5-7, Sr.
One of the top recruits to Ohio State University, Doss averaged 17.2 points, six rebounds, five assists, and 5.1 steals per game for the Yellowjackets.

F Jessica Walter, Midland (Midland), 5-11, Sr.
In her final season before she heads to the University of Indiana, Walter’s 18.3 points and 3.9 steals per game guided the Chemics to an undefeated in-conference record and a district title.

F Teagan Reeves, Three Rivers (Three Rivers), 6-2, Sr.
A major force on offense (22.4 points per game) as well as the other end of the floor (13.6 rebounds, 4.7 blocks per game) the future Western Michigan University Bronco helped the Wildcats reach the Class B semifinals.

C Asia Robeson, Central (Kalamazoo), 6-4, Sr.
Although the future Auburn Tiger was outstanding on offense (17.9 points per game) Robeson’s defensive stats are most impressive: 15.3 rebounds, 3.7 steals, and a whopping 8.9 blocked shots per game.

G Cierra Rice, South (Grosse Point), 5-8, Jr.

G Kelly Wright, St. Ignace (St. Ignace), 5-10, Sr.

G Candice Leatherwood, Mercy (Farmington Hills), 5-7, Sr.

F Erika Davenport, Clarkston (Clarkston), 5-11, Jr.

C Marte Grays, Martin Luther King (Detroit), 6-3, Sr.
