Coach of the Year:

Rich Olson, Lutheran (Lincoln)
Already a four-time state championship head coach and a member of the Nebraska High School Hall of Fame, Olson may have done his best piece of coaching this year, guiding the Warriors to an 18-7 record and their first-ever state tournament appearance.

First Team

F Jessica Shepard, Fremont (Fremont), 6-4, Jr. (Player of the Year)
Already verbally committed to the University of Nebraska, Shepard averaged 30 points and 14.8 rebounds while guiding the Tigers to a 22-3 record and a spot in the Class A quarterfinals.

F Kianna Ibis, Benson (Omaha), 6-1, Jr.
With a truly dominant player down low (19.4 points, 15.4 rebounds per game), it’s little wonder that Bunnies were able to complete a brilliant season 25-2 season that ended with victory in the Class A state title game.

F Chatrice White, Shelby-Rising City (Shelby), 6-3, Sr.
The University of Illinois landed a tremendous player in White, who averaged 24.9 points and 13.3 rebounds for the 23-2 Huskies.

G McKenzie Brown, Grand Island NW (Grand Island), 5-11, Sr.
Although she averaged 23.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, this future Nebraska-Kearney Loper saved her best performance for the last game of the 2013-14 season, scoring 36 points and collecting 10 boards in a Class B state title victory over Pius X.

G Maddie Simon Pius X (Lincoln), 6-1, Jr.
After verbally committed to the University of Nebraska in November, Simon went on to enjoy a stellar 2013-14 season, averaging 19.8 points and 7.2 rebounds for the Thunderbolts, who reached the Class B state finals, narrowly losing despite her 27-point effort.

Second Team

G Brooke Kissinger, Minden (Minden), 5-7, Sr.

G Samantha Waldren, Millard West (Millard), 6-0, Sr.

G Haley Thiele, Neumann (Wahoo), 5-8, Jr.
