Coach of the Year

First Team

Despite a nagging knee injury that cost Simpson (18.2 points, 8.4 assists, 6.6 rebounds, and 5.6 steals per game) a handful of games, the University of New Hampshire signee closed out her Lancers career with a 16-point effort in a narrow Division I championship game victory over Bedford.

G Jamie Sherburn, Bishop Guertin (Nashua), 5-7, Sr.
Fortunate to have both an offensive dynamo (18.1 points and 6.9 assists per game) and a defensive menace (7.1 rebounds, 5.1 steals per game) in one player, the Cardinals rode this Niagara University recruit to the Division I quarterfinals.

G Sandi Purcell, Alvirne (Hudson), 5-3, Sr.
In her final season before she heads to Keene State next fall, this speedy guard averaged 14.5 points per game for a Broncos team that was one win away from the Division I quarterfinals.
