Coach of the Year

Billy Anderson, East Carteret (Beaufort)
The North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association Coach of the Year guided the Mariners to a 31-1 and an appearance in the 1A state championship game.

First Team

G Gabe DeVoe, Shelby, 6-2, Sr.
A unanimous Associated Press all-state pick, the University of Virginia signee averaged 34 points per game this season.

G Keyshawn Woods, Northside Christian Academy (Charlotte), 6-5, Sr.
The North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year helped the Knights compile a 28-1 record and claim their third consecutive state title. 

F Brandon Ingram, Kinston, 6-7, Jr.
The North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year guided the Vikings to the 2A state championship and was named the title game’s MVP.

F Gary Clark, Clayton, 6-7, Sr.
The University of Cincinnati signee is the Comets’ all-time leading scorer.

F Theo Pinson, Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point) 6-6, Sr. (Player of the Year) 
North Carolina signee led his team to a second consecutive state independent schools title.
